She the founder of Migrant Family Support, a non profit organisation supporting migrant families in the UK. She is a co director of Rock Housing and Support Services, a Social Care housing company providing accommodation for care leavers.
Rumbidzai is a multi-award winner and was named Zimbabwe Business Woman of the Year in 2011. She was awarded Business Woman of the Year in the ZIWA Awards in 2014. She was awarded the Humanitarian of the Year in the ZIWA Awards in 2015. Rumbidzai successfully crowd funded for a young woman called Tambu Makinzi raising a record £30 000 in just over three weeks. Rumbi was nominated for the prestigious Women on the Move Awards for 2015.Outside her professional life, Rumbidzai is a mother and wife to Muchada Bvunzawabaya. She is a strong and devout Christian and a preacher.
