This feeding project is a unique one as it covers SDG 2 which is Zero Hunger and involves sustainable agricultural practices and SDG 11 which is Sustainable Cities and Communities. This is a particularly important area that is a need in the Chivi area as it is prone to drought. We as Tugwi Trust have come up with an intervention to ensure that children do not go hungry and are taught agricultural skills that are sustainable for their specific location. We want to ensure that primary school children in the Chivi Rural District, starting with Gondo Primary School, have the correct balance of nutrients that they need for optimum development which will enable them to focus when they attend school, resulting in a well-rounded individual.
