The learner is the second-born in a family of four. Both parents relocated to South Africa two years ago and provide minimal support. Despite these challenges, the learner performs well academically and achieved 9 units at Grade 7. Due to financial constraints, the learner could not enroll at a nearby higher-fee school and now travels 20 km daily to attend a more affordable school.
